Moonlight Markets return to 11110 Johnson Drive in the spring of 2024 promises an exciting and vibrant experience for all. Attendees can look forward to a diverse array of offerings, including fresh produce from Farmers Market vendors, locally crafted goods, and live music to set the mood. The presence of food trucks and brews from nearby breweries adds to the festive atmosphere. Families with children and leashed dogs are encouraged to join in on the fun, making it a wholesome outing for everyone. Additionally, exploring the surrounding local establishments, such as restaurants, breweries, and shops, can further enrich the experience. With the event running from 4pm to 8pm at the City Hall parking lot, attendees have ample time to immerse themselves in the festivities and make lasting memories.

Makers Market

Join us as we kick off the spring/summer festival season in Bonner Springs, Kansas! This annual event draws thousands of eventgoers to the heart of our downtown and showcases over 65 vendors that specialize in arts, crafts, handmade goods, and specialty goods. Event will occur on Oak Street from Front Street to Nettleton.

Food trucks will be available. All retail and food establishments are open as well for your enjoyment.

Have you heard? Our spring fundraiser, "Come to the Vine" is going to be amazing!!

Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 27th, starting at 11AM Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery. This event will have live music all day, including Green Shoebox Band-Community @Bigtimeduelingpianos, & 2 Guys with Guitars-Jazz.

Admission fee is $10.

For purchase: Spirits from Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery. Great eats from Smoke n Seoul & Tina's Trucks plus many vendors!!

Note that vendors will only be onsite from 11 am - 5 pm. If you’re coming to shop, come early!

Shamrock O'Market

The Irish American Club of Johnson County is excited to host the St. Patrick's Parade on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in Downtown Shawnee.


Parade line-up begins at 11:30 a.m. at Johnson Drive and Monrovia. The parade takes off at 1:00 p.m. and proceeds down Johnson Drive from Monrovia east to Nieman Road. If you would like to participate in the parade, fill out anentry form and bring that along with $10 cash to the parade lineup.

This year's theme is "Get Lucky- Charm Your Shamrocks Off!"

Be sure to plan your entire day in Downtown Shawnee to enjoy the parade and the Sister Cities Duck Race. Wondering what to do in between these two fun events? How about a third fun event! Join us for Shamrock O'Market featuring over40 local, handmade vendors and food trucks.There's also a bier garden and some classic Irish tunes! This market will be open between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. for your shopping, dining, and sipping pleasure. You will also be able to purchase a duck for the Sister Cities Duck Race duringShamrock O'Market oronline!

You can root for your winning Duck in the Sister Cities Duck Race in the Herman Laird Park parking lot at 3:30 p.m.
