To use a ceramic wax warmer, place wax melts or a few drops of essential oil in the dish, then turn on the warmer to melt the wax and release fragrance. Place it on a level, stable, and fire-resistant surface, away from children and pets. When finished, allow the wax to solidify and cool completely before disposing of it or reusing it.
Steps to Use
Add wax or oil:
Place one or two wax melts, or a few drops of essential oil mixed with water, into the removable dish or tray of the warmer.
Turn on the warmer:
Plug in the electric warmer or light a tealight candle if it's a non-electric model.
Wait for fragrance:
The heat will melt the wax, releasing its scent into the room.
Allow to cool:
To turn it off, switch the warmer off or extinguish the tealight and let the wax solidify completely before touching the warmer.
Dispose or reuse:
Once the fragrance has dissipated, you can scrape out the hardened wax or use a cotton ball or paper towel to soak up the melted wax for easy disposal and replacement with a new melt.
Safety Precautions
Keep away from children and pets: The ceramic material heats up and can cause burns.
Use on a stable, fire-resistant surface: This prevents fire hazards and ensures the warmer is level for proper melting.
Do not touch while hot: Wait until the unit has cooled and the wax has solidified before moving or cleaning.
Do not use in wet locations: Water and electricity don't mix.
Purpose: Use only for heating wax or fragrance oils, not for food or drink.
Do not burn for extended periods: Some manufacturers recommend not using for more than 4 hours at a time.
